I just had a colonoscopy yesterday morning.
could it be related to the fact that he hardly eats? he has been on movicol lactulose senna and sodium picosulfate and none have worked he has been this way for over a year and its horrible . he has adult size stools and they take days to pass and at times he bleeds.. gp keep putting him on previous medications that have not worked.
I have irritable bowel syndrome and I usually have clear mucus in my stools but lately I been having green mucus in my stools. What causes this and should I be worried?
The stool itself looks normal but the mucus looks like a faint green.

I have had bloody stools a few days before expected period and stopped but I didn’t get my period. I’m 4 days late now and I have a stomach ache. It’s not cramps its more like im nauseous. i may have gotten some pre cum inside me but that’s not certain. My period has been irregular lately and I’m worried something may be wrong.
I pass twice in the morning, as soon as I get up, within five minutes of each other. Then once two to three hours later, after breakfast. Then once or twice more during the day. I eat healthily, work out daily, am a vegetarian, eat lots of fruits, vegetables, plain yogurt and whole grains, and meditate.
The stools themselves are not diahorreal, just normal and well-formed. Any serious, medically-grounded replies would be appreciated. Thanks!

9 year old Emily, has a problem with her poo, and according to kids it can’t get much more embarrassing than that. Emily has to go to the toilet a lot, often suffering from diarrhoea and a swollen and gassy stomach. Dr Pixie examines Emily’s stomach, finding a backlog of poo still in her bowel. She sends Emily to see Paediatric Gastroenterologist, Professor Chris Taylor. Emily is sent for an x-ray, which shows a lot of poo in her bowel that needs to be removed, after further blood tests, biopsies and endoscopies, Emily is diagnosed with probable Coeliac disease. This is a common bowel complaint that is caused by an intolerance to gluten, found in wheat, rye and barley. It affects around 1 in 100 people in the UK, and the symptoms are stomach pain, diarrhoea and vomiting. This new series explores the conditions and ailments that leave many of us a little red-faced and aims to de-stigmatise common complaints.
Lately I’ve been having incredibly frequent, loose, watery stools. They aren’t compacted at all, and come out it large amounts. I also noticed that there was some blood in my underwear from my rearend part (not menstrual blood). I’ve also been having bad stomach pains, cramping, and feeling naseous.
For the past couple of weeks I have been eating huge amounts that my body is not use to (eating disorder recovery), and lots of grainy foods, protein, and carbohydrates. Mostly everything I eat is loaded with fiber (which is known to harden the stools). I eat all healthy foods, very few sweets if any. I exercise every single day for like 2 hours or more, and I am very active. Despite the huge amounts I have been eating these past weeks, no weight gain.
What could be wrong with my stomach? Could I have a bowel disease?
