I was told to use tums for it but not helping at all. I feel like the food is stuck on my chest and I can literally taste the digested food mixed with acid in my mouth. my mouth feels like someone who has been sucking on lemons. Help!!! Has anyone experienced this and tell me what worked for you because it is making me very uncomfortable.
Tums and pepto- not cutting it. The heartburn is so bad it’s causing me to get sick.

I am 38 weeks pregnant. I stood up from lying down position within minutes after having an orgasm (I have a 2 year old son who decided to disturb us lol) & got a sharp, ripping sensation in my stomach whilst also having a very strong Braxton Hicks contraction. It lasted about 2 minutes & there’s been nothing since. What was this pain?
This is my 3rd pregnancy and I never got heartburn with my other 2. Also when I say severe, I mean it feels like I am going to have a heart attack. Seriously It gets to the point where I cant stand up or do anything. Help me out. It seems to come and go when it wants to. It doesn’t make a difference what I eat.
I’m pregnant and have acid reflux. Some days are worse than others. I’ve been trying to determine if it has something to do with specific food(s) I’ve been eating, but haven’t figured it out yet. Until I do, I really need some advice on how to stop acid reflux when pregnant. Please help!
