It makes me so ill. They are going to give me pills this time–a LOT of pills supposedly, but is there an easier way? What about regular laxatives?

I tend to bloat really easily, even if I have something light to eat like a small salad or yogurt. What are the best fast acting pills to reduce these problems?
When I get my period I get bloated and I can’t stand some cramps and I heard that there are some pills that help you with that but I dont remember the name. Can anyone use the pills or are they for only for people who are 18 and older? Does any type really help?
I am scheduled for a colonoscopy next week. I am dreading the whole thing. I actual event will be anticlimactic, but the prep is terrible. 24 hours without solid food and I will have to drink a gallon of liquid and shallow 32 pills in two hours. Then comes 12 hours of constant bowel movements.
Is it as bad as they say? Stories?
Any pills, suggestions, teas?
Does anyone know of a good remedy to help with bloating and constipation? I’ve heard green tea helps. Has anyone tried that? I’m desperate for help. I’ve tried gas pills, milk of magnesia, enemas, miralax, etc. and it keeps coming back. HELP!!! I started on Cymbalta 6 mos. ago and it helps with depression so much, but it seems that’s when my bloating problem started..Anyone had that happen?
I have to have a colonoscopy next Monday. I have had one before and am really not looking forward to it. The problem is drinking the triLyte crap! Anybody have any ideas about how to get it down quick and painless? Which flavor packs are the best?
I can’t take the pills because I have kidney damage.
Do you just go in and talk to the Doctor? Get a prescription for the prep pills or liquid? Does he have to do an exam? If so, please explain what is done.
I’m 7 weeks and the bloating is unbearable. It’s making me feel so nauseous and I can’t even swallow anything without gagging. I tried taking gas relief pills, but it did nothing. Is there anything at all that will take the pressure away? I know drinking plenty of water will help, but it’s not helping enough. My stomach is literally stretched to the max right now.
I’m a lapband patient (weight-loss surgery,) and I can’t drink or eat much of anything in quantity. There is no way that I could ever drink a gallon of liquid, or take a bunch of pills (the band prevents swallowing of large pills, they get stuck.) What other options do I have?
