Students See Real Science with ICR – www.icr.org Ginger Is Strong Medicine Ezekiel 47:12b …They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine. Often naturally occurring medicines work better and more gently than man-made concoctions. Ginger has long been accepted as a natural treatment for nausea. Several modern studies have confirmed that ginger can even work better than modern nausea medicines such as Dramamine®. The ginger we’re talking about comes from the roots of tropical plants that grow two to four feet high. It was once used to calm bees so that honey could be harvested without incident. A 1988 study gave either ginger capsules or placebos to Dutch naval cadets. The study concluded that ginger proved to be “significantly beneficial” in reducing the incidence of seasickness. Two studies in the 1990s showed that ginger reduced nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy and some types of surgery. A Utah study compared the effectiveness of ginger versus Dramamine. Students were rotated on a tilted chair for six minutes. None of those who had taken the Dramamine made it through the six minutes. Half of the students who had taken ginger lasted the full six minutes. Researchers warn that you should check with your doctor before trying ginger since it does interact with some medications. I started feeling bad 4 days ago and im trying to figure what’s going on. I never felt this way. I recently turned 18 a month ago and I’m pretty sure it’s not me going through changes. I do drink and I started back smoking but why do I feel bad. I’m not pregnant. I have no reason to feel this way. What do you suspect is going on?? Help plz.
I’m 15, I was diagnosed with Gerd when I was 13, it’s been three years of this every second of the day struggle. But right now I want to understand throat nausea. It feels as if….something, is trying to come up my throat and out my mouth….I have never burped before, and I am severly afraid of throwing up, so all I can do to relieve this is to pat my chest which for some reason helps, and take some tums, or mylanta. I’m having this feeling again, my mom gave my some super greasy chili to eat at 11:30pm at night and i ate it, but now I’m feeling the rising of something in my throat like nausea in my throat but it doesn’t burn or anything….ugh.D: this happens everyday….
So you suggest that I purge? Are you out of your god damn mind?…seriously?
I feel fine this week. Except for stomach pains once in a blue moon. I have regular periods. And they usually come on the exact day or a least during the week that it is suppose to come. I have already tooken two pregnancy test. Could I be pregnant?

I have had the feeling for about 2 weeks that something is stuck in my throat. I feel it more after I eat, but no difficulty swallowing, and no pain. Before this happened I have also been having nausea almost every day for about a month. Has anyone had similar sympoms? I’ve heard it could be GERD, but I don’t have heartburn. I also know someone who had esophageal cancer, so I’m kind of worried about that.
Not last night but the night before i ate pizza, then the next morning i felt sick and weak. Then last night waves of stomach pain and nausea came about every half an hour. I have had my gallbladder out also. What could this be???
There’s some bloating in there, I didn’t poo yesterday, I have my lovely monthly friend -
But these things have (obviously) happened before, and I never experienced pain like this.
Should I be worried or what?
