www.wecarespa.com Susana Belen Founder of We Care Spa recommends the healthy choice for constipation using natural foods and herbs as a laxative. Constipation could be avoided if you eat watery food like fruits and vegetables. If your constipated you could drink some prune juice or soak some prunes over night for less sugar. dried figs, apricots, and fruits will help as a laxative. If you’ve been constipated for some time and the fruit still don’t work then you can try a nutural herb formula in capsule form called fiber regulator which is sold at We Care Spa. like immediately or does it take time?
How do these people end up losing weight by using laxatives? I don’t mean to be gross, but isn’t the poo just food that has already been digested? Therefore, the fat and calories are already absorbed into the body? I don’t understand why people would want to do this to themselves. I could not imagine having bowel cramps all day and needing to stay near a toilet at all times, just for the sake of losing a few pounds, when it probably does not work anyway.
Laxatives bother my stomach ALOT, so they are out of the question.
i don’t want to take any pills of any sort for i heard that your body will get used to them. Is there something else i can take like a fruit or vegetable?
Hi, I have a friend who has a bowel problem. Since young, she would have very little bowel movement compared to the average person. Nowadays, she frequently has constipation which lasts at least 2 days.
She has tried to take a lot of fibers, fruits and vegetables everyday. She does exercise a few times a week. Sometimes when the constipation lasted so long that she just eats fruits the whole day but still wouldn’t have any bowel movement and got bloated instead.
So after consulting doctors, some say it’s Irritable bowel disorder.. so just said it;s severe constipation and advised her to take 20ml (max 30ml) of mild laxative everyday.
She tried the laxative for about 4 days already. Managed to have 1 or 2 bowel movement (at least something). I heard that there’s no cure for irritable bowel disorder, so I was wondering whether there is any side effects of taking mild laxatives frequently. Would her system be too dependent on it? How safe is it?
Thank you
By the way, any recommendation on the time of day to take laxatives and also what to take it with.
Thanks
I got some Benefiber, I’m hoping that’ll work, but i feel like CRAP (ironically enough). Any advice you can give would be much appreciated. (I don’t want to use laxatives because those make me feel worse than the constipation).
doing a colonoscopy on Monday… tomorrow (sunday) i start a 24 hour clear liquid cleanse with laxatives.
today (saturday) i’m hoping to have tomatoes/salsa with dinner… any suggestions?
