I need help. I think I am bullimic but with laxatives. I have an eating disorder realising that I have been using laxatives to ‘feel’ better after eating alot for the day. I have been on laxatives for a year and a half after constipating or feeling ‘guilty’ after eating alot. The package recommends adults to take 2 every two weeks. But I have gone to the point where I need to take 30pills just to flush my bowels down my system. I want to stop but I dont know how to. I now feel bloated and gassy. Its been two days since im off dulcolax. I am too afraid to go to the doctor to see if there is anything wrong with my insides. I feel depressed all the time. What should i DO? can I detox and will my body function back normally?

Okay, so I took a laxative around 12 Eastern time today (It is ten now) I have went to the bathroom once, but it was only an hour after taking the pill. It says it does not work for 6-12 hours since its for overnight relief.
Now my stomach hurts really really bad (I dont feel like I am going to throw up, but it aches. almost like period cramps but worse), and I was wondering if it was normal.

~~Oh my god, my stomach feels HORRIBLE.. mostly cause I’m constipated… awks… so, hm, I downed a 25 ounce bottle of Gatorade along with 4 doses of Myralax to help speed up my cure of constipation, and after i drank them, pumped… “pumped” my stomach with a belt, made sure everything- most everything- got into my intestines as fast as possible. Well, the recording is… kind of good.. at about 3 minutes or so I start squeezing the right side of my stomach to push everything to the left where I was recording ^^. And…. yeah, can’t wait for my intestines to start moving around..

I am 15 and am experiencing bowel problems. I am constipated most of the time and the other the rest of the time i basically poop my pants.I need help. A laxative that works fast so i can know what’s coming might help but right now im reduced to staying as close to a bathroom as possible. this is a severe problem that NEEDS to be awnsered as soon as possible.

I had diarrhea for two days now and this morning due to excessive stomach acid, I want to drink a tea laxative so that i can wash all of the bowels that are still left so i don’t have to worry looking for a bathroom when I’m traveling tomorrow. I have already taken 2 Tums for the acid.

Is it ok now?

I took a laxative, and now I cannot stop running to the bathroom. If i take imodium (to stop diarrhea) will it help stop with the laxative effects, or do you think the laxative will over power it?

Ok, so when I was in the worst phase of my eating disorder I abused laxatives

now I fear I am dependent on them and have become very constipated!
I havent had a bowel movement in NINE DAYS and I really need to know what can make me go!

(please skip the lecture on laxative abuse, I have quit using them and i am in treatment for the ED)
