I should have a colonoscopy, I have an insurance for emergencies but they won’t cover it. I will pay it myself, the problem is that my insurance won’t cover any posible complications either. can I get some kind of insurance for that?

I’m 26 weeks and 2 days along and I’m experiencing some lower back pain in between my hips. I’m also having periodical sharp pains in my abdomin but only in once spot though. So my question is is that pain in my abdomin considered menstral like cramping or abdominal cramping.

Also I’m not some dumb @$$ who doesn’t know what premature labor signs are my problem is I already have a 2 1/2 year old and he was born at 33 weeks along. I had no idea I was in labor with him when I was 20 weeks along "I was put on bedrest then." And I never felt any of the contractions which they kept saying I was having until the day I went into active labor with him.
I’m not on the phone with my doctor b/c he’ll expect me to come in or go to the hospital and I don’t feel like waiting around if I’m just worring myself over nothing. I have insurance but still it’s a waste of time and money for me to just be going to see a doctor for nothing.

How much would a colonoscopy cost if you don’ have any health insurance? I need one but we can’t afford it. My husband’s job offers insurance but it cost 5 a month and there is no way we could afford it. I hear those things are expensive, even for people with insurance but they are very useful. Thank you

My husband’s had diarrhea for a couple days and vomited once this evening (I suspect it’s a stomach bug he got from his mother a couple days ago). He feels absolutely lousy. The kicker? He doesn’t have insurance for a doctor, and the ER’s another day or so into the horizon. Does anybody know of a good home remedy for these kinds of stomach issues? What kinds of foods should or shouldn’t he be eating? Any suggestions, however silly, are welcomed.

My insurance doesn’t cover this procedure. How much does it cost? The doctor’s office won’t tell me what a simple screening costs.

I had a colonoscopy last year and received 2 separate bills for anesthesiologists. (Both of which were denied by my insurance.) When I called to inquire, I was told that I should have only requested 1 for the procedure. How is someone supposed to know they would automatically get 2? I’m stuck with 2 at 0 a pop!
I was only out for 15-20 minutes. I was told after being billed that one was a nurse and the other was an anesthesiologist. I just don’t understand why it was necessary to be charged for 2 on a very simple procedure. It must be "normal" to have 2 present. (My health insurance didn’t even cover 10% of the roughly ,000 it cost for the procedure.)
I didn’t even want the procedure and had no idea how much cost was involved. I wasn’t aware that I could have requested to have no anesthesia. I didn’t even "NEED" the procedure. It was done to rule out any internal problem causing tailbone pain. I’m just angry because I never would have had it done. The surgeon said it would be half the cost of having it done in a hospital. 00 is HALF of what I could have been charged? Yeah, right.

I’m a 24 year old, generally healthy young female. I was diagnosed with IBS/Spastic Colon about 5 years ago and have only had a few attacks over that amount of time after diet and lifestyle changes.

On the 4th of this month I was in the hospital for ulcerative colitis (way to spend the holiday huh?) and I was treated with Imodium AD and put on a liquid diet for about 12-24 hours. I felt fine shortly after and a few days later my bowel movments seemd normal..at first.

I was watching what I ate as always, lots of fiber, drinking plenty of water, etc.

The last week or two I’ve notice that whenever I make a bm my stools are some what loose (not diarrhea) or they’ll be more solid but are a greenish color and I can see bits of undigested food in them (like spinach) I haven’t eaten a lot of meat or anything that’s very fatty in the last week.

I don’t have health insurance and I don’t want to have to go back to the hospital.

I haven’t been vomiting and no other symptoms (except some gas and bloating).

Any ideas?

I am not having bladder problems. Last time I had sex 24 yrs ago, things were ok. Feels normal from that way in to digital exam, no pain.. However, there is something very painful.Very not normal.
I cannot even wear panty hose , the pressure feels like
there is a ball the size of a soft ball, large one, very very sore and tender being pressed on by the panty hose. I went to church month or so ago, and thought I would die before I got home. What is this.

I have severe colon problems, spastic colon and have some disc problems , is that one of those or do I have cancer the size of a soft ball. Not had a pap smear
for this is second year. No insurance. Many medical bills and people who do not like people with no insurance or money. Having sex is not going
to cure this. No smart alec answers. I am an
abstinent Christian.

If you laugh, I hope you get cancer the size of a soft ball somewhere. I will ask this because I am not afraid of what you think so much as I am sick of this. . I guarantee you there are other poor women who are too embarrassed to ask, and have it too.

I’ve been dealing with bloating, fatigue for a year now. Nothing I eat settles with my stomach, water even makes me bloat, and feel full and like I’m gonna explode, any ideas what I could do?

I currently have no insurance, and i’ve had tons of test ran already, but nothing has shown up.

I have posted before, I am having very late periods , (8 days) that last(2days). I am always feeling sick, I went to Atlantic city and noticed that if i am walking or moving for 2 mins constant The pain is constant going. IT started in my right , then left side. Now its in my lower mid section. I have a buldge in my lower abdomen. I took a test yesterday came back neg. what could be wrong, or has anyone have any advice. I have no insurance because i turned 19 my only hope at this time is hospital….I do have unprotected sx with my boyfriend of 4 years , and are very aware of what could happen and would welcome it.
