after i eat i bloat. no matter how much or little i eat…and i was wondering how long it should last (the bloating) or am i just gaining weight?

OKay here’s the deal. I am So bloated lately for the last few weeks, my stomach sticks out unnaturally, I can’t fit into 5 pairs of my jeans anymore because of this. I quit smoking 3 months ago, but shouldn’t I be gaining weight ? Not just bloating. I’m not doing anything different then I have in the last 5 yrs of my life, I dont understand. Anyone going through this that has a clue what is going on ? The feeling is, almost like PMS, but it’s not… Where ya just feel disgusting and full all teh time, when my tummy gurglles cause im hungry.
I’ve gone up 2sizes in Pants…. I eat lots of fruit….lots of veggies fresh and cooked… IT feels like when you eat too much and can’t expand your tummy anymore, but I’m constantly hungry.
I haven’t gained weight anywhere else in my body, other then the physical look of my tummy.. and the poounds haven’t gone up

In the stomach area. B/c I dont know if it’s bloating or I’m actually gaining weight
I’m at the end of my period

But if it’s bloating when does it usually happen the beginning, middle, or end of the period or all through it?
Lollypop, go get two points somewhere else your a waste of time typing useless stuff. You get a thumbs down

Has anyone tried an antidepressent that works for anxiety and is also for people who have IBS and GI problems? I’ve tried many like Zoloft and Lexapro and Buspar and they all basically killed my stomach then I was put on Remeron which has been helping with anxiety somewhat but has increased my appetite tremendously and I’m just gaining weight every day. Please I need advice.

My 16-week old kitten has been checked for worms 3 times within 2 weeks and all tests have been negative. She was on flagyl and probiotic and is done with that. Her food consisted of Merrick wet food and Wellness Dry food. I keep a water fountain clean and full at all times. She does not eat table scraps or get milk. She is not dehydrated and is gaining weight at a healthy pace. The only symptom is very loose stool or diarrhea. And until today, she was only pooping two or three times a day. Today she pooped twice between 6:30 and 7:00 am.

Assuming it is her diet, which seems the most logical at this point, what are your thoughts on foods that claim to be nutritionally balanced for all life stages? What are your suggestions for brands of foods that do not have by-products, wheat or corn? I understand the Wellness may be contributing since it is an adult food, but I didn’t realize that until yesterday. I thought it was for all life stages. I want her to have the best food available.

Lately I’ve been gaining weight and I’m guessing it is from IBS because I usually only have one bowel movement a day now from it. I was wondering if there is any way I can stay the weight I am now and stop gaining the weight. I’m only 110 pounds so I don’t really want to lose a lot of weight I just want to stop gaining weight.

I have had a spastic colon for more than 8 years. I know what to eat and what not to even touch. My situation was controlled for some time but two months ago I woke up with a burning pain in and around my shoulder – almost inside my cartilage. I took blood tests for rheumatoid arthritis and the amount of acids in my system. Both were higher than normal but not really a danger. I am taking anti-inflammatory tablets but the pains have spread to my muscles. I am eating a balanced diet suggested by a dietician. I also exercise 5 days a week for an hour at a time but I am still gaining weight. I gained almost 15kg in 9 months. I am always bloated and suffer of heavy constipation, dizziness and fatigue. What is going on with me? Who should I see next? I have been to so many doctors and they keep on telling me it is my spastic colon! Could it be my thyroid? Please, any advice.
