Scientists at the US Food and Drug Administration disagree about the risks from CT scans given during virtual colonoscopies. Doctors who favor the procedure say it is less invasive and more cost effective than a conventional colonoscopy. Those against it say the CT scans expose patients to too much radiation. Ok…. I have been Diagnosed with ”a” connective tissue disease but there are so many and all requiring different treatments etc but the doctors don’t think a genetics test will help as they already know its a connective tissue disease but i really want to know what one it is, I thought that maybe a doctor/nurse or someone who has a similar condition they might be able to help pin point it, These are my symptoms;

Joint hyper-mobility
joint dislocation,
4x pneumothorax (collapsed lungs)
Short philtrum (space between nose & top lip
receding chin,
high pallet,
cross bite,
gummy smile,
long arms & fingers,
long face & body,
terrible Aching and weak muscles,
back pain. neck pain etc,
a lot of Migraines & headaches,
irritable bowel,
lung/chest pains,
tendon strain,
Palpitations and fluttering heart
Myopia (near sighted)

There is more but just pains anxiety etc,

I have had a lung opperation (lobectomy, plurectomy, stapling of the lung etc & they want me to have the other lung done….eeeek

If anyone can help or has been diagnosed with a certain disorder/syndrome with the same symptoms i would really appreciate your opinion as im getting no where with the doctors,

I know it was very common when the disease was first being discovered and almost everything about it was unknown. But now with modern medicine and awareness, most people can be treated and don’t need this type of surgery, right?
