I was diagnosed with IBS a few years back and was taking Zelnorm. To be honest, Zelnorm didn’t do much for me. I still had constipation and bloating (I am in constant pain and the doctors say nothing, I just came to the realization that I will have to live with the pain the rest of my life). I was told that wearing panty hose helps with some abdominal pain and pressure. I have been trying it on and off for the past few months and it makes all my symptoms WORSE. Everytime I wear anything tight, I seem to get even MORE bloated. It feels as if my body is pushing BACK on the clothes. On the days I wear loose clothing, I don’t experience this problem. I am in a fairly conservative industry and all the ladies are required to wear panty hose (I will switch to thigh highs and if anyone has a problem they can shove it up their who-who). Is there any correlation between waering panty hose and abdominal pain? Could I have something severe? My Dr’s tell me NOTHING
I have already had a colonoscopy
I haven’t had any vaginal issues wearing pantyhose (I still wear cotton undies under the hose)

I think i have colitis (not ulcerative colitis though) because i have all the symptoms of it. My doctors have been diognosing me with Ibs but i think it is colitis because the symptoms seem more like what im getting. Is a colonoscopy the only way to determine i have colitis?

So i woke up 6:00 am. and found my self having a major cramp or stomachache. i felt like i need to throw up. but after i had diarrhea. the urge to throw up went away. Whats the name of this virus i got? i want to know so i can tell my mom whats going on. and tell the doctors. im just 13 years old.

Possible causes for lasting abdominal pain?
I’m a 23 year old male, and have been having what i assumed were gas pains for a week now, and today the pain is more acute and has moved to my sides, kind of into my ribs and back as well, just wondering if anyone has encountered this before. Sometimes it’s a stabbing pain. i don’t want to waste the doctors time in the er if its just something that will go away but the pain is just grinding on my patience.

For about 9 months i have had upper right abdomen pain off and on. I have been to several doctors and was tested for appendix and ovarian cysts. Once they found nothing, they said it could be a bad pulled muscle. In the last 2 weeks i have started having severe heartburn along with the side pain. I’m tired of being the lab rat. Could this be something to do with my gallbladder?

I want to know if Doctors wait for an ethically better time to tell you that you have cancer. Do doctors hold off telling you, you have cancer till a later time…or do they tell you right after the procedure..ie. colonoscopy, lower gi.

2 doctors have told me i have ibs im not sure of that but im going with it for now until i can see a gi..in the morning and afternoon i have diarrhea at night im usually constipated what fiber supplement is best to treat both of these and what dosage should i take for the one you chose?

I care for an 11 month old child who has had diarrhea (slimey, gooey, pale green) for two weeks straight. The parents assure me its the result of her cutting teeth, but none of my 3 children ever experienced this. I don’t want my own children to get it, should I ask for a doctors note for her to return to my care, or just keep her?

Hello, i am a 19 yr old young man that has always been decently healthy. I am 5 foot 10 inches and around 160 pounds. For about the last 6 months i have has some weird abdominal pain, It started out with an ache or pulled muscle type feeling (NOT CRAMPS) and from time to time it would go away for a week and them come back for a couple weeks then go away again. Went to the doctors and had a Upper GI and a Lower endoscopy done. They found nothing. I feel like the doctors think i am over reacting but its kinda scary cause now it feels like a dull feeling almost like something inside my stumic. The doctors said i shouldent be worried cause if it was cancer it would have killed me by now. But what should i do would a MRI or CT scan help cause maybe its not in the stumic but on the outside. So idk what should i do?
