How do doctors find out if kids have acid reflux?

I recently went to the ER for appendix pain. We thought it bursts, but it ended up being some sever cramps and they shot me up with morphine. When I was there, two doctors asked to look at my testicles. What was the connection there?

Pelvic floor disorders result when the muscles and connective tissue within the pelvic cavity weaken or are injured. The three main pelvic floor disorders are urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. This talk features three Stanford physicians who will approach this complex of problems from their particular specialties. Speakers: Craig Comiter, MD; Kim Rhoads, MD; Eric Sokol, MD

On Monday, March 28, Katie Couric delivers an impassioned plea about the importance of undergoing a colonoscopy.

I’d like to hear a Doctor’s perspective :)

I’ve been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome by my GP when he doesn’t really believe the condition exists. Therefore he’s not treating me for it. Initial ekg and pulse-ox tests were normal, so no cardiologist or pulmonologist referrals.
Over the past few years, I’ve been to a Asthma/Allergist for seasonal allergies, a Hematologist for anemia, GI for irritable bowel syndrome and GERD, a GYN resulting in a partial hysterectomy, and a psychiatrist for depression and anxiety, all in hopes of treating my fatigue. None of these have helped, I’m still thoroughly exhausted all the time.
I can’t work, in the traditional sense, but told I’m not disabled. I don’t know what to do. Every online, work-at-home job turns out to be a scam.
I’m at my wits end…any suggestions?

About a year ago I went to a natropath who put me on a detox that cut out any sugar, acidy and fattening food as well as alcohol for one month. I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it. But ever since then, I have not been able to eat anything other than meat and fruit and vegetables.. If I eat anything else like sugary foods, deep fried foods, creamy foods, including milk or soy milk, I get horrible stomach pain normally just below the chest, not lower stomach, and then pass bowels that have runny consistancy. (sorry guys)… It has been happening for a year. I know this must seem awesome to some people cos I have lost alot of weight and I’m fitter but i have to constantly watch what I eat ALL THE TIME and can never get take away or eat at someones house. I also get free coffee given to me all the time at work and have to drink it to be polite and I end up on the toilet :( :( Does anyone else have this or something similar? Is it irritable bowel syndrome?? I am trying to avoid paying $50 to see a doctor… (stingey I know but I’m a poor uni student)

A week ago I felt a sharp pain in my lower stomach. Then for 2 days I had a constant pain in my stomach. Kinda like a crampy and sometimes sharp pain. Now, a week later pain is minor, it comes and goes away, but my stomach is feeling like its rumbling on the left bottom side, to the left of my belly botton. I feel the rumbling especially in the morning when I wake up. And also my stomach feels bloated. I dont have diarrhea or anything. I was wondering what this could be. I researched on the internet and found irritable bowel syndrome (irs) and i wondered if this is it. I am 16 year old male. Anyone know what this could be?
