For as long as i can remember i have had obsessive compulsive disorder and i have been bagging all of my bowel movements then freezing them and examining them later. I have 6 years worth of frozen feces in my celler, how should i dispose of it safely?
What IBS means: —– Irritable bowel syndrome is understood as a multi-faceted disorder. In people with IBS, symptoms result from what appears to be a disturbance in the interaction between the gut or intestines, the brain, and the autonomic nervous system that alters regulation of bowel motility (motor function) or sensory function.
Irritable bowel syndrome is characterized by a group of symptoms in which abdominal pain or discomfort is associated with a change in bowel pattern, such as loose or more frequent bowel movements, diarrhea, and/or constipation.

Someone in my family has constant diarrhea and it’s painful. He uses the bathroom at least 3 – 4 times a day and sometimes even late at night when he should be sleeping. I know that having bowel movements daily is normal, but this is way beyond normal. I’ve mentioned to him to visit our family doctor, but he doesn’t want to and doesn’t think too much of it. I’m not sure if it has to do with his eating habits or if he really has some kind of stomach bug / virus. Please help!
Can Morphine Use that was prescribed by doctor cause uncontrollable bowel movements? Or can it cause nervouse system disorder? If you have any side effects that you have had towards morphine, please reply…… Thank you!
So I’m wondering what the technical term is for people who hold in their bowel movements. I’m not talking about constipation or incontinence or irritable bowel. I believe it is a mental disorder where people refuse to defecate, they hold it in. Anyone know?
I was told I have ibs about 2.5yrs ago but the only symptom I have is urgent bowel movements nothing else. What else could be causing this? I have had most of the test done but feel we are missing something since this is the only issue that is bothersome.
I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, ocd, and panic disorder. About that time my bowel movements began to change: Alternating constipation and diarrhea, softer, narrower stools, sometimes mucus. Can this be caused by anxiety? How does anxiety influence bowel movements. Can this by IBS? By the way, I am a 28 year old male. Can Anyone with anxiety problems give me examples of how anxiety, IBS has affected there bowel movements? Thanks
I haven’t had a normal bowel movement in about a month, and when I do have bowel movements, they’re very loose and painful to pass. I get crampy and it’s just very painful. Is this ibs, or a side effect of something else?
I’ve been getting some diarrhea (nothing too horrible, but not normal bowel movements) for the past week or so.
I admit that i’ve been eating too much bread with cream cheese and bologne, but i didn’t think that would cause diarrhea.
No plums or dried fruits, which i now cause diarrhea.
So what other foods could it be?
