I have forgotten the name of this and its driving me nuts and its for a pt dg. It is a disorder where your blood pressure drops out while having a bowel movement because they hit the vagal nerve near the coccyx. Anyone help me out. I have a resident that I think may have this disorder. I have seen it before but cannot recall the name of it. And unless I know the name, the nurse just thinks I am a stupid peon CNA who doesn’t know crap.lol

I am suffering from an eating disorder but am trying to recover. I haven’t had a bowel movement in 12 days. The longest i go is 14 days and when i do go it is really painful. I haven’t told anyone about this. Should i tell someone or is it normal for this to happen in ED recovery?

I’m just trying to figure out which one I have :P
I’m 13, i’ve had constipation before and i havent had a bowel movement for 2 days now (getting a little worried) i’ve been having gas as well. My tummy hurts, but im pretty confident that is period cramps. My period is active right now, by the way. Thanks to anyone who answers, best answer will be chosen. if you need more info, tell me what and i will add details. Thank you so much!

Lately I’ve been gaining weight and I’m guessing it is from IBS because I usually only have one bowel movement a day now from it. I was wondering if there is any way I can stay the weight I am now and stop gaining the weight. I’m only 110 pounds so I don’t really want to lose a lot of weight I just want to stop gaining weight.

I have to go take a bowel movement about 4 times a day maybe even more. I have abdominal cramps and some bloating. For a couple of weeks now i completely changed my diet and i now eat brown rice with vegetables and i stay away from anykind of junkfood i also have begun to exercise everyday for an hour. My stools seem to get a little hard but i still have some unusual bowel movments and cramps. If i keep on living a healthy lifesyle when will IBS stop?

I am a 28 year old male. In addition to having been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, I have been having a host of strange bowel symptoms for the past year or so: diarrhea, constipation, narrower softer stools, occasional mucus, but no blood. The one symptom of IBS that I do NOT have is abdominal pain. I noticed that one of the requisitie criteria for IBS was abominal pain that is relieved by a bowel movement. I have never had this symptom.

Can the condition I have still be IBS?

I am just wondering if it is possible that I have IBS without the pain/cramping aspect?

I’m on a low calorie diet, and I frequently deal with constipation issues. I only have a bowel movement 2 or 3 times a week. I eat plenty of fiber, exercise, and drink water. What else can i do to make my digestive system more regular?
