Yesterday I had a colonoscopy done with biopsies. Ever since waking up, I have had pretty severe cramping in my abdomen, mostly on my left side. Is this normal? I mean, could my body still be reacting to all the laxatives I had to take? Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

I think i have an ulcer, and i was punched in the abdomen above the belly button.what can happen?i’ve heard of a burst ulcer and i really don’t want one

While children’s pastor at More, one of them asked if I would pray for her mother. She was in pain and had been told she would need surgery. I grabbed three sons and another girl nearby, and we prayed. THE PAIN LEFT! GLORY TO JESUS!

I have had terrible heartburn, headaches, abdomen pain and bloating, tar looking stools and dry mouth, and tongue feels funny. I am not a hypocondriac, I never go to doctors, and for that reason I am concerned as to what this is? How about an ulcer of some sort?

for the health professionals out there:

what would be a cause of weakened/ underdeveloped (the surgeon termed it ‘pediatric’) peritoneal connective tissue in an adult female? This patient presented with chronic idiopathic constipation and had recently had a bowel resection and removal of a very damaged gallbladder. The gallbladder had been wrapped in its own membrane thus inflaming the other organs in the peritoneal cavity.
Her ANA antibody and sed rate were done to rule out lupus and scleroderma, but those results were well within normal range. she did have the lupus anticoagulant and she also suffers from Gastroparesis. (Though her large bowel transit was normal) Her thryoid panel was normal, and was tested twice.

would the “pediatric” peritoneal connective tissue be caused by excessive straining during bowel movements, or due to inflammation from the diseased gallbladder? or is there a systemic disorder that we’re missing?

Thanks!

I’m traveling by plane in the evening. But since yesterday I’m feeling unwell . I feel discomfort and pain when standing up and feel better hen I lie down. Last night I vomited and since then the pain started. I m really worried as I will be on flight for abt ten hours. Please help. Any home remedies or something that will quickly take care of the abdomen pain atleast if not headache or cold.

Duodenal ulcer is seen in its first part. Mostly caused by acid peptic disease, analgesics and H. Pylori infection. Distributed by Tubemogul.

Sometimes when I wake up and have my morning coffee with milk, I immediately start to burp. Sometimes when I have pasta I bloat up. I thought I might have a milk or gluten allergy. I am not overweight but have this big bloated abdomen and this embarrassing gas which causes me to burp. Any ideas?

Abdominal physical examination is performed as part of a physical examination, or when a patient presents with abdominal pain or a history that suggests an abdominal pathology.
