What foods avoid with IBS & ways to control IBS?
No matter what i eat my tummy is extremely bloated and painful it even bloats on it’s own when i haven’t eaten and can also come on when stressed any ideas what foods to avoid and ways to keep stress levels down
I too have IBS, there are a few pieces of advice I want to share with you. The first is FIBER, FIBER, FIBER. You need at least 25-30 grams. I drink two glasses of Metamucil to get my fiber. If you don’t have fiber in your diet, the food inside your stomach stays there and literally rots inside of your abdomen creating cramps, bloating, gas, and MANY, MANY other hazardous symptoms listed online. To prevent all of those symptoms you’ll have to include fiber into your diet along with water to flush the stool (feces) out of your system before it has a chance to rot in your stomach. The second piece of advice is drink A LOT of water, at least eight 8oz glasses a day, again, this is to flush the stool (feces) out of your body and prevent it from rotting which results in the symptoms I outlined above. The third and final piece of advice I’d give to you would be to look this information up online on your own. I went to the doctors and those morons didn’t even hint to me that I had IBS, I had to diagnose myself. I also found out that I’m lactose intolerant and that sugar gives me gas and keeps me bloated.
