IBS??????????????????
I was just wondering if I have IBS or not.. ive been have alot of bright red blood in the stools and alot of mucus in the stools.
is that ibs?
and should I go to the doctor?
it’s been going on for a few months now.. and i haven’t told my parents yet :/
well I also have constipation, but i already went to the doctor for that and they gave me medicene. so if its not IBS what could it be?
This is most certainly not a symptom of IBS and may be a symptom of something serious. I have suffered IBS for quite sometime with most symptoms being constipation and feelings of inadequate evacuation. IBS will not cause blood in the stool. As a matter of fact when I was being tested for IBS it was a major concern of my doctor. Once he was satisfied I did not have any he proceeded to treat me for IBS.

No, it doesn’ sound like IBS. It sounds way worse than that. I would actually go the the emergency room. Like now. There’s bleeding coming from somewhere and that could be very bad.
Well, if it’s been going on that long, you probably okay to wait and go into the office, but you need to be seen. If you just said it was bright red blood, I would say probably hemorrhoids, but the mucus isn’t good. You need to get your parents to take you back to the doctor, something’s going on.
i had the same problem. i made an appt. with my doctor and it turned out i had an anal fissure. which is no big deal i got some cream to help usually lots of water and good diet will help it if this is what you have. But you really should call your doctor and make an appointment because the sooner you fix the problem the better.
