does any one know of a good antidepressant for anxiety for people with IBS and GI problems?
Has anyone tried an antidepressent that works for anxiety and is also for people who have IBS and GI problems? I’ve tried many like Zoloft and Lexapro and Buspar and they all basically killed my stomach then I was put on Remeron which has been helping with anxiety somewhat but has increased my appetite tremendously and I’m just gaining weight every day. Please I need advice.
Try Prozac.
Stanitruk – Some people legitimately need medications to help them function on a day to day basis. It’s called "chemical inbalance". Do some research before you start shooting off your mouth about something you know nothing about. Although, I suppose someone with your illness, ‘foot in mouth disease’, wouldn’t know any better.
doxipin
Bentyl
XANAX is really good for anxiety and it’s not rough on your stomach.
My mom was on an anti-depressant call Cymbalta. It is suppose to be really safe. For anxiety you should try seroquel.
Hey Bucket Women, do they sell that over the counter????????????????????????????????????
Why cant you just face reality and get off the dope. That’s a big problem with Americans these days. Think they got to take a pill for every little problem that pops up. Get a life you looser.
Maybe I can help you. I have both IBS and GERD, I take Zelnorm for my IBS and Zantac 150 for the GI problems. They work well together and I have had no ill side effects from either. However, I do take another medication for my depression. I have been on Prozac for over 15 years and don’t plan on changing that one for anything since it works so well for me.
Maybe check with your doctor about Zelnorm and Zantac 150 to see if that can help you as it did for me.
As far as anxiety, I take Clonopin, as needed in small dosages. I might take like 1/8mg just to take the edge off my anxiety if I even need that to feel better when my anxiety strikes. At night time I take 0.25mg of Clonopin to help me sleep without anxiety.
I have no idea about the ibs but you should talk to youre dr about celexa for the anxiety.
Lofepramine or Trazadone
