What is causing my upset stomach, diarrhea, nausea?
I have had an upset stomach, diarrhea and nausea for the past 4 days. Every time I eat, I end up running to the bathroom. I haven’t actually thrown up, I’ve only been feeling like I am going to. I’ve tried pepto and it hasn’t been working. WHat could have caused this? what should I do? Im feeling miserable and I feel like I cant eat because all I end up doing after is having to go to the bathroom.
Stomach flu, sounds like. Just a bacteria or virus that has hit ya. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids so you don’t become dehydrated. It would be wise to maybe see the doctor.
Have you tried Imodium for the diarrhea? This is a great OTC medication for this. Also don’t eat any dairy products at all. They only keep you running when you already are. Forget anything like pepto as these only confuse your system sometimes. Have you eaten any chicken that wasn’t done? Is there a chance you ate something that might have caused this? Have you checked to see if you are running a temp. lately? You really need to be a bit more thorough with these things before asking or add them so that people can help with knowing more. Any chances that this is a flu? These symptoms along with a few other flu symptoms are signs of swine flu. This is a first for me to suggest this. I do this very carefully. The only way that can even be confirmed is with a blood test. Have you been around anyone ill in the past few days? The incubation time of any type illness is about 24-72 hrs. Think this one over to see if there might be someone that you might have caught this from. There are so many things that fit in with these symptoms the only possible person that can tell you for sure would be your doctor. Good luck and God Bless
Not sure what your problem is, but have you tried Sea-Band to relieve the nausea feelings? It’s an alternative to the drugs, and it worked when my sister-in-law was going through something similar. For three months she would eat a meal and couldn’t keep it down. She tried Sea-Bands acupressure bands and they seemed to help her feel better so that she could actually get on with her days.
