Are somewhat large blood clots and diarrhea normal during a period?
I am nineteen and during every period I have blood clots. Usually they are kinda small but some periods I have gotten really big ones. Sometimes as big as oranges. I suffer really bad cramps and stay on the heating pad as much as possible. Before I was on birth control my cramps would make me throw up. Also, I get diarrhea every period. I go to the bathroom more than usual, but I’ve heard that during menstruation you have more bowel movements. Can anyone tell me if this is normal?
diarrhea is normal, it could be due to change in diet, fluids, or cramps the blood clots are normal as well – it’s just the shedding of the endometrium. but you should check with the doc if you are having huge ones like you say, it could be something more serious
clots should never be bigger than a quarter, diarrhea is normal – i think, i think you should see a doctor about this
Your bowels will be different every period. Blood clots are normal and it means that you are dehydrated. However, blood clots the size of an orange is not normal, you may want to see your doctor.
honey i think that is normal . I used to be just like you. but i am on the depo for four years . i have no period. but yeah . just like you
i wouldn’t worry about abnormal bowel movements during your period. i would be worried about orange size blood clots. call the dr. to schedule an appointment.
