My doctor wants me to have a colonoscopy because of my anemia?
She told me that low iron counts can be a sign of possible colon cancer, has anyone esle heard of this?

Yes, because colon cancer causes rectal bleeding which causes anemia. But don’t be too alarmed because anemia doesn’t always mean cancer it is often caused by other problems. i am 15 and have already under gone an endoscopy/colonoscopy and will go through another one in a little over a week. the worst part is the prep! the rest is easy. once they put you out you won’t remember anything! i woke after a couple of hours and just thought the test lasted a few minutes! lol! good luck! hope this helps! =)
