How often do you go to the toilet before a colonoscopy?
Before a colonoscopy u have to take those special laxatives. How often do you end up going to the toilet? Every 5 mins or so? And alsooo do u get anal leakage???

I’ve never had a colonoscopy, but my wife has had several. Seems to me that she was in the bathroom about every 1/2 hour. It’s a major disruption of a normal life. And that gallon of laxative…..she says it’s absolutely horrible!!!
My sister just had one last week. She said she was going nearly every 10 minutes for the day before when taking the meds. It’s natural for things to be coming out quickly and grossly. It’s meant to do that.. the doctors don’t want anything in the way when they check up inside
Not every 5 mns but it depends if there is anything wrong with you,It takes about 2 hours to work and then perhaps every half hour and then you take another dose—there should be no leakage unless you have pain and cant get to the toilet in time—best of luck,hope there,s nothing seriously wrong with you
Depends on the medicine, how deep colonoscopy you need. I have tried two different ones.
One of them was 10 minutes apart I had to visit the toilet and after I was empty I was feeling kind of normal, and just waiting for the visit to the doctor.
Second time was much worse. This medicine tasted very bad and I had to sit on the toilet every 2nd minutes and I almost felt like vomiting too. You can get a bit of fluid leakage (approximately a teaspoon) but it is mainly water, because you have had nothing but water to drink for 24 hours.
It feels like being a chicken on a spear. Not comfortably.
I have to get these regularly because of bleeding ulcers…
Every time that I take the pills or liquid I cannot even leave the toilet. Often times I’m vomiting in the tub next to the toilet as well.
Usually if, at one end or both, is completely clear and water like — you call your doctor or at least a nurse at the office, they will tell you it’s okay to stop drinking the liquid or taking the pills.
About anal leakage? I’ve never noticed any, but I’m sure because after that much ****ing, your muscles are gunna be tired, thus making it harder to hold any remaining substance in it.
Also some good advice: If you’ve never gotten one before have your driver be someone you are very comfortable with. You’ll be farting like CRAZY afterward.
