Spastic Colon Archives

Any suggestions out there? I have heard of this product called donnatal…it has been around for more than 30 years for IBS and needs a doctor prescription. The website www.donnatal.com says its an adjunct therapy in the treatment of IBS (irritable colon, spastic colon, mucous colitis and acute enterocolitis)…I dont know what adjunct therapy means. Has anyone else used donnatal?

There was a Noise Festival booked at the Impala Cafe at some point in 1995. The show was booked by Lob, of Instagon, and featured Spastic Colon and several others for an entire weekend. IMpala Cafe was located at First and Alameda in Little Tokyo of Los Angeles in the building that is now Senor Fish. Chewing Foil was featured on KXLU Demolisten during these years. The band was formed in 1994 by Octavius Poirier and the Rev. Matthew A. Carey. myspace.com/chewingfoil for more information.

Has anyone heard of a product called donnatal? Their website www.donnatal.com says its used to treat the symptoms of IBS (irritable colon, spastic colon, mucous colitis and acute enterocolitis). There are not many prescriptions out there for treating irritable bowel syndrome and I am curious to know peoples thoughts on this one. Thank you in advance!

Please don’t make fun. Im a 15 year old girl.
I have a spastic Colon (Atleast what my mom tells me)
I get horrible cramps and hurts to go poop.
Most of the time when I go lately, It hurts really bad and a little blood comes out.
Should I go see a doctor? I don’t want a Aneurysm from straining.

A friend of mine told me he has a spastic colon, what does this mean and how can you tell if you have one?
I know it’s not an “infectious disease” but yahoo answers said it would fit best in this category.
