If understand right the muscle is weak, opening when it should not (mine is at night, or any time I fall asleep). With that in mind I do not want to inhibit stomach acid as the meds. Doctors describe do…this would cause even more problems it would seem….I want to know if there is a way to strenghthen involuntary muscles. thanks Kathy

I have a 2 & 7 year old and had c-sections with both of them. I now have GERD and did not have it before. Anyone else have this?

I have GERD and the usual GERD symptoms, along with a number of rarer symptoms my ENT and I seem to agree are caused by it, including occasional earaches and sinus aches, throat clearing, bitter taste in mouth, and an undescribable pungent odor only I can smell. Could the odor be HCl acid? HCl fumes? Esophageal scar tissue? It’s the same odor all the time, so I don’t think it’s stomach contents. It definitely improves slightly with H2 Blockers and temporarily with antacids, but is usually on and off throughout the day, every day. Sinuses are clean, uninflamed, uninfected. I am in excellent health, despite GERD. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Can GERD cause you to feel like there is something in your throat, plus am getting a chronic cough, like coughing up phlegm that stinks and it burns my throat. My throat feels hot. It’s really irritating me

please help my son has been prescribed zantac and reglan he is only 3 months old . Reglan is an antagonist and messes with dopamine. Doesnt seem safe to mess with an infants dopamine depression? Anyone know of any really good natural remedies???/
