**Learning to find strength through my tears** On Tuesday October 18th I started spotting in the afternoon and went to the ER that night. They couldn’t find a heartbeat and checked my cervix it was closed and I was no longer bleeding so they sent me home and said that everything should be fine. It was confirmed by my OB that our baby no longer had a heartbeat on Wednesday October 19, 2011. I was 9 weeks and 3 days. Thursday I took my first dose of Cytotec (Misoprotosol) and started bleeding and passing clots that night Friday morning I took my second dose and passed the fetus that evening. I DO NOT regret my decision of taking the pills. (I did forget to mention that it gave me painful gas and diarrhea though.) On Sunday (after taping this) I passed something else huge but I have no idea what it was. Wednesday 10-26-11 Passed another piece of tissue Thurday 10-27 bleeding stopped. Began spotting: 10-18-11Miscarriage confirmed: 10-19-11Took 1st dose of Cytotec: 10-20-11Finished bleeding: 10-27-11Positive OPK: 11-14-11 at 10:00 pmOvulated!: 11-16-11 Got my period:12-1-11 I also forgot to mention that having this miscarriage has made me hug Jayden extra tight. I am SO LUCKY AND BLESSED to have him. It is so easy to forget how much of a blessing each and every child really is. But boy will a miscarriage remind you!!
