I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease about 10 years ago and have been on medication ever since. I’ve been wanting to try to wean myself off them by doing some natural/alternative treatments. Does anyone know any good, proven ones?
I have tried Remicade and Entocort. My doctor mentioned Humira but decided against it.

Also, does it work for kids?

I am in pain right now on my left side. This happened to me before and was over a few months period of time and then it went away. Now that this pain has come back I am wondering if it is due to a flair up. I had iced coffee this weekend and I had dirrehea after having it which has never happened to me before. I was told that if you have a flair up than you should not have caffiene as that makes it worse?
What should you do for a flair up?
