The menstrual blood that comes out of the vagina is partly a mixture of blood and tissues present inside the womb. Right from adolescence, when a girl hits puberty at the age of 12, she experiences this monthly cycle until she turns around 51. It’s probably after periods that a girl is more often referred to as a young woman and is said to have bloomed. Hygiene during periods One should make it a point to take extra care of personal hygiene during periods. You should carry sanitary pads, tampons or panty liners to soak the menstrual fluid. These days all kinds of pads are available in the market and in all different shapes and sizes. Some even have wings on them for extra protection. However, one should change them after every 4-6 hours to avoid rashes and irritation. Usually when I work out for a while I start to get really bad cramps in my stomach, not like stiches in your side, but cramps. Almost in my lower stomach. What can I do to prevent that?
