What about Jello pudding?

“Doctor, you are so cute”! Sounds funny, but I’m really afraid of it. Are you put to sleep or is it that freaky twilight sleep, when you are conscious but don’t remember anything?

I am due one very soon and am extremely apprehensive. I’d like to hear from anyone who has gone through the experience and would like his or her account … what the preparation the day before was like … the actual procedure … the type of sedation … etc. Please no scare-mongering, but honest replies will be greatly appreciated.

What hour should she start to drink her preparation. She is trying not to do it.. I have to make her do it. Please help!

I am 58. I never had a colonoscopy done. I did have a sigmoidoscopy done about 3-4 years ago. I believe my mother’s brother died of colon cancer. The sigmoid I had was negative. Doctors out there…do you recommend this procedure ? thx.

I have not had a bowel movement for 9 days after having a colonoscopy? anyone have this problem?

I am having an endoscopy and a colonoscopy both together and i am terrified, i am a highly anxious person who suffers panic attacks, i want a general anaesthetic but they say no. I am scared of gagging and being sick when they push the camera down my throat and the colonoscopy sounds awful, i am so scared , has anyone had these procedures and how did they cope?

If so, what was it like? Did they do a good job. What part of the country was it? I am in southern California.
