Less invasive procedure saves lives from ‘silent killer’ CLEARWATER, FL — Its called the silent killer. Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm often presents with no symptoms but if it ruptures it can kill you in twenty minutes. Doctors at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater are saving lives without putting patients through major surgery. 82 year old Bob Lapin is lucky to be alive. He came back to Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater to talk about the silent killer that almost got him. Doctor Mitchell Weiss explains, The aneurysm is a weakening of the aortic wall, its like a pregnant belly here.” Bob knew, if left untreated, the aneurysm could kill him. I had a friend who had died because he had an aneurysm and it had burst. So I was not going to put off having this thing fixed.” Fixing this type of problem once required invasive surgery. Doctor Weiss is part of the team at Morton Plant that starting to use a stent and a few small incisions to save patients like Bob. Through a small groin incision, the doctor inserts a stent into the aorta. The stent reinforces the aortic wall and Bob says, Believe it or not, two weeks later I was white-water rafting in Idaho with my grandkids.” The doctor says, Its a far cry from when things started and patients that had open surgery and were in the intensive care unit for two days then were in the hospital for a week or …

htttp://www.StressedOutStressFree.com Hi welcome to another video of Lower back pain sitting at the desk. This is in respond to a question from my FB friend asking me how to fix her lower back pain because she sits a lot at work. She’s been having pain for a long time but she keeps ignoring it. ok! First Rule of thumb: Never ignore what your body when it’s trying to tell something! Always remember your body is like your best friend. It tells you when something is going to happen for instance let say you are working at the gym when you are trying to carry this heavy weights and your body will tell you not to because if you do it you might pull a muscle or hurt yourself. Or maybe when you are eating at a all you can eat buffet your body tells you to stop eating the dessert because if not your stomach couldn’t take it and you’ll end up being in the bathroom. So basically it’s very important to listen to your body and when it’s alarming you or sending you a message you need to listen to it. Alright, it is obvious that we always have to sit especially at work we can’t be walking around or running around unless your job requires you to go up and down the office or running around in and out the office. Most of us spend a lot of time at the desk. So, Lets see how we are supposed to sit. When I asked her how she normally sits? and she told me that she sits like this… is like a curve not exactly like this but I’m exaggerating basically people sitting like this at the computer in …
