What would cause upper abdominal pain in the morning?
I have recently been waking up with a sharp pain in my abdomen, primarily around the diaphragm region, and today on the right side. Eating seems to make the pain worse (I am guessing because it causes pressure), moving around and pushing on the region also makes it hurt. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this?
Male, 5′ 5", 115 lbs (can’t change the weight, I would gain if I could)
Go to the doctor it could be different things: hernia (not sure ’bout spelling), your liver (that’s on the right side of you abdomen right under your diaphragm), or your right kidney but that’s on the backside below your rib cage, i think.
maybe you have to use the bathroom or maybe its your appendix
bad gallbladder…
not sure. go see a doc.
This does sound like appendix, but there are several major structures on the right side. Gall bladder, kidney, liver, ovary….that could cause pain up into the diaghram. Need to have this checked out and before it gets worse.
ulcer? go to doc
a lot of things can go wrong there.. i would suggest seeing a doc. It could be as simple as having to go to the bathroom, or having an ulcer or something like that… leave it to the professionals! Thats what years of school are for!
