Recurrent abdominal pain in are where appendix has been taken out, help!?
I have recurrent pain in the site of where i had my appendix out some time ago,nearly 3 years ago. It feels like a stitch, it comes and goes, accompanied with slight abdominal swelling.
Hey, I have had constant pain and still do, from having pancreantitis. And the pain was right where my appendex was too, but after getting further checking into it, I found out I have Crohns deases. You should possibly speak to your doctor about the pain and talk to them about getting checked for Crohns, I am actually still in pain to this day since December 10th and I am under going and intervenes fluid that is called Remicade to take the pain away.
Could be an incisional hernia from the actual cut they made, or possibly adhesions from the surgery. See your doctor for a referral back to the surgeons.
