How do you know when abdominal pain is evidence of an emergengy?
Early yesterday morning, I woke up to a nauseated crampiness runnning through my abdomen and back. Eventually, I feel asleep on it and it passed, and all was apparently back to normal (I even was able to work out yesterday afternoon as usual). Suddenly today, when I got up off the couch, I get a horrible jabbing in my mid-back on the left that won’t ease up, even with stretching. The pain is again radiating into the abdomen with that nauseous feeling, but it’s most intense in the mid-back. Is this anything to worry about…should I need to phone a nurse or something to get checked out?
This could be anything from gall bladder, kidney stones to gas or a host of other things, call your doc. The mere fact that you are asking if you need to be seen is proof you need to go.
go to a walk in clinic…phone your doctor or hospital….if you cant walk or breath because of the pain then yes it is definetly serious
hope you feel better soon
