I think i have colitis (not ulcerative colitis though) because i have all the symptoms of it. My doctors have been diognosing me with Ibs but i think it is colitis because the symptoms seem more like what im getting. Is a colonoscopy the only way to determine i have colitis?

I adopted this dog in the early summer and nearly every month he has an "episode" where he wakes me up in the middle of the night vomiting and having diarrhea. It’s gone in a day or so, after that. He eats sensitive stomach food and he gets very few table scraps. He’s going to the vet on Saturday, but I would like to get the Community’s point of view.

i fell pregnant with my son straight after coming off the pill. it has been 2 and a half years and we have just started trying again. I still have 4 days till im due for my period and Im begining to think i am pregnant cause i have been very bloated for the past week and particularly after eating and uncomfortable when sitting. Is bloating a symptom this early? I have done few home tests but they were all negative. I Know i still could be pregnant but wouldnt one of the tests been positive if i was. I didnt do a pregnancy test till 2 weeks late with last one cause i didnt expect to get pregnant so quickly, but am very anxious this time.

3 weeks being counted from the last menstrual period that is. My hubby and I have been trying to get pregnant, and I have normal pms symptoms and would be 3 weeks pregnant if i am. I know you don’t get pregnancy symptoms until 4 weeks, so is my situation hopeful?

Hi all this year around january i had some strong abdominal pain( upper right) it would last hours and the pain would get stuck and i would not be able to breath in. Then i had it 2 days later. then i had it the following week alittle.. so i went to doc to check, he thought it was gallbladder problems sent me to imaging tests, turns out everything is normal. i also had blood tests and were normal.

then i changed my diet eliminating milk. no more meat( just sometimess) no junk food. it got better from that time up to now, i had been fine.

But then this week ( May 2006) i’m having pain there again. this time is not so sharp and i can breath-in, but i have it.. and it seems like a bit higher than the place it was before.

Anyways, what can this be, if docs say i’m fine? what should i do now?

Think about it doesn’t diarrhea just have to be poop in liquid form and doesnt puke have to be food spewed up?

I assume it causes bloody diarrhea due to the toxin acting as a pore-forming toxin that leads to cell destruction via a loss of membrane integrity. Is this correct?
