I was wondering to you have to get a recommendation from a regular physician clinic to get a colonoscopy or can you just go to the hospital and get one?

My girlfriend is worried about this pain she has been having. It’s an abdominal pain that feels like heartburn except it’s in her stomach. it comes on every once in a while (5-6 times a day) then leaves as soon as it began (not really but still, about 5-10 seconds) Please help

My toddler has diarrhea from his antibiotics that he is on for an ear infection, and the antibiotics give him really bad diarrhea that is causing an awful diaper rash. I have the rash handled (browned flour), but I am wondering what kinds of foods I can feed him that won’t make his diarrhea any worse. I know of yogurt, but he has had enough of that, he doesn’t seem to want any more. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Is there any safe product that I can take while pregnant to help eliminate all the gas and bloating I am experiencing? ( I am almost 6 weeks)

Ok one of my cats (layah a one year old Manx) got diarrhea and it got all over one of my kitchen dining chairs. There was also a nice mushy nugget on another chair. I clean the poop off the floor, and took a soapy hot sponge and cleaned the chairs (they have a fabric seat) is that enough? Or is there more that I need to do?

I’ve seen it asked before, but no one answered it so far! Has anyone ever received a colonoscopy without sedation? Is the pain seriously INTOLERABLE?

I have been experiencing a dull pain in my lower abdomen for a day or two at a time for several months now. The pain is the worst in the morning. I have not changed my diet, nor has any of my female cycles changed or been irregular- the only thing I can think of is my nephew who I babysit. Hes quite heavy (40 lbs about – and I’m 20 years old and 120 lbs) and I sometimes lift him, for example yesterday he threw a tantrum and I lifted him up and he proceeded to struggle with me and kick me, today I woke up with the pain again- my question is this- can this kind of lower abdominal pain be cause by lifting a heavy child and/or the kicking, even though i don’t have any back pain?

My Cat has been sick the past few days. He’s outside 90% of the time and it’s been chilly lately which I think got him sick. He won’t use a litter box anymore so I have no choice but to let him out.

I won’t be able to take him to the Vet for a couple of weeks. A friend recommended wrapping an Immodium in some lunch meat to get rid of his diarrhea. So I did. But, what can I do about his runny nose and sneezing?

Everytime i drink milk I get bloated :/ And sometimes my stomach hurts. I was, eating a bowl of cereal now my stomach is so bloating i can’t sleeeep -_-
its not really with cheese though.

I just switched my baby to whole milk. She has been on it for 3 days now and she has had really bad diarrhea . Is this normal.
